My Last Post till October

Yeah so me and Nelly won't be posting for a while, she kinda made things clear why. :3

God I despise exams.

But in this last post I would like to present my latest obsession, now that my K drama feels have completely ebbed away. (oh my god finally I couldn't take any more depression after gaksital)

Yes.

The Vampire Diaries.

Yes, baby, yes.

A DEvoted DELENA supporter. These two are just omg adhkhsdxbhdhqk.

Season 4 is premiering on October 11. and my reaction to that is agsdxiwbgdiuh gah.

Exams

Hey, people! Nelly here, Well, yes. I’m going to share my thoughts on exams. But I’m not sharing my thoughts on tips and stuff. Seriously, if you’re looking for that, here ain’t the place. Sorry. I’m here to tell you that mine and Allyx’s exams are coming soon. Like really soon. Like sooner than soon. So, we are going to slow down a bit, but before that, this is my last post. For the examination period. Not forever. So, yeah. Exams. Exams & I don’t get along too well. Whenever I get my paper, this is what I perceive the paper to be like,

Seriously, and I’m just like

But, oh well. There’s nothing you can do about it. so, whenever I’m told exams are close, I’m just like

"What? No. Please. We just finished."

Then I have friends who keep bugging the teacher on the exams, and I’m just like

And then my timetable comes out and I’m still like

And then the exams have arrived and I’m still

And when I get home, I’m just like

And at the end, after everything

So, you see. We are not meant together. Never. AT all. It’s like putting to explosive chemicals in one container, so, my advice to you people, try to get along with exams.

Not this again. No. No. No. Hell no. please. Please. Please. Oh God. WHO WOULD DO THIS? WHAT PERSON WOULD DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS? WHY?

I love this scene. The way she turns around and tells Katsuyama her real name, signifying that she knows that she is a Korean. And also the way she walks into the night of shining lights. :')

Why would someone make this? Seriously? WHY?

There are a lot of epic scenes in Gaksital. But this scene. THIS SCENE.
THIS. SCENE.

Now I know how to cry on cue when I have to cry on cue. My apologies to A friend, Because I have ruined her life by letting her watch the sad scenes of the finale. sorry. :/ My apologies to you guys too and nelly, but i just had to add this in. won't be posting any more gaksital posts. :/ A compilation of all the screencaps captured during their epic conversation and shunji's suicide.

Well evidently this was the most depressing scene ever in the history of depressing scenes. especially the part where shunji gave kang to the wedding photo. crap man i didn't tell nelly this part cuz i thought i couldn't handle it and might wail again. seriously it kind of pissed me off when shunji received Kang To and Mok Dan's wedding photos. How dare he? I can't believe that He has the audacity to even hold their wedding photos. he was a nothing but a jackass then.

And uh, my speculations of this scene in a previous episode was true. With the slow-mo Letting go of the hands  seemed like a forecast to me on what was going to happen in the end. Damn it all my sad predictions came true while none of my happy wishes for the ending of this drama were granted. I wish I could just fly to Korea and pelt the writer of this drama.

"The Price Of Sin Comes Slowly, But It Comes."
Okay that's gonna be my official slogan from now on. BEWARE ALL THOSE WHO HAVE VIOLATED RIGHTEOUSNESS.

This B*Tch *sorry Nelly I censored it though*  definitely deserved that slap. No wait she deserved a harder-than-that slap.

But what icked me is that she got a freaking *Remember, Allyx, no swears. No swears.* happy ending while Miss Sweetness, mok dan, freaking died. ON HER WEDDING DAY.

It happens that this stuck-up wench's brother came back alive and they both were united and thus a happy ending while mok dan lost her dad and died. Great. It's soooo fair.

Even if she regretted her ways she owed mok dan  so much. She caused Mok Dan to be tortured countless times and I really wanted to see this stupid hoe D-E-A-D. But nooo, she could live and be happy even if she sinned so much and did NOTHING to repay mok dan.
Kang TO sinned and he repented and did the right thing and yet he still had to pay. (By losing EVERYONE HE LOVED) while this wench didn't get anything. Only this slap and her head in the water. Unfair. UNFAIR. UNFAIr.

Ugh I hate her so much. Useless stinking bimbo.

I Can watch her get slapped all day.

Now. I would Like to Share with you all of my reactions throughout the show. Again. Fine, click away. Sheesh.

Just A Message To You Patient People Out There

Sorry about the overload of Gaksital posts. Allyx is STILL a bit temperamental and sentimental about it. I think I have to go and try to nail back the loose nail. This blog will obviously won’t become a Gaksital dedication page. Just a few posts until Allyx is finally satisfied. So, if you don't mind, just help her hang on. Thank you so much, patient readers :) look out for more posts! Thanks ~Nelly

Random Question: ALLYX, Y U NO GET OVER GAKSITAL?!

THE FINAL SCENE

I love how the mask is placed on the table next to him as he diligently crafts more masks. And how Mok Dan's best friend was painting out flags to distribute to their fellow Koreans in preparation for a rebel against the oppressors that taint their land and their independence. Mok Dan's death inspired Kang To further to drive the Japanese away from Korea, no matter what it costs or takes.

Kang To was a hero that saved the Koreans, and he was a leader that led the rebels. He was someone who had sinned and paid for his sins. And he was someone who kept his promises.

He promised his dying lover to remain strong.

And he did.

He remained strong till the end.

Kudos to the production team of Bridal Mask who made everything possible despite the drama's controversies. Especially Joo Won and Park Ki Woong who invested so much into this show. It was an honor to have both of you grace my computer screen. I am extremely wowed by both of your acting abilities. As for Jin Se Yeon, you totally nailed that dying scene. It's spectacular for someone so young (19, right?) to act so well! I can feel the emotion shooting out every few seconds from this show. Han Chae Ah, as well, you were amazing as Rara. You guys make up the A-list cast!

There's no doubt that this humble actor (Joo Won) is going to haul in major awards at the end of this year. I'm pretty sure that the whole awards ceremony is going to be dedicated to him. Saw one of his behind the scenes videos and noticed that Joo Won's hand was wrapped in bandages. Was shocked, of course, when I found out that he hurt his wrist during a fight scene with Park Ki Woong. Also heard that Ki Woong hurt himself as well and needed 15 stiches! You guys should've taken it easy, and don't get hurt any further or else I might punch the choreographer that composed the fight sequences. :D Just kidding, but seriously.

Anyhow, this drama has been on the top chart for three months straight and never left the #1 position! Not surprised, of course, it's Joo Won's show and I realized that all of his shows received critical acclaim, mostly because of his superior acting! Such immense talent. :)

I still need to get over Mok Dan and Shunji's death scenes, it's been 48 hours since the broadcast and thank god all my Gaksital feels are starting to wear off slowly. I watched the finale again last night with a friend, and the tears couldn't stop gushing out. No matter how many times I watch it I am still going to cry like a baby.

And whoever made that credits scene for the finale episode, not cool, man, not cool. What kind of twisted soul would make such a thing? Seriously. Even thinking about the credits scene with the music and all makes me all have those feels. Again.

When I saw the credits scene for the first time. I was something like this:

And basically at the end of the show I'm like:

This show is responsible for my buckets of tears, but still, it was an amazingly inspiring drama series. One of the best and most emotional. A friend told me that it was the first time that she ever saw me wailing so badly over fictional characters. Yes I can be sentimental sometimes. Right, Nelly?

Anyway. That was the end. The Koreans joining a rebel to free their beloved country from the hands of the Japanese. And Kang To leading them towards freedom.

Inspiring, it is.

And that is for everyone who made Bridal Mask possible. Especially our two MAIN actors. Joo Won and Park Ki Woong. Two of our most talented people in the universe. Such REALISTIC ACTING, SERIOUSLY. You guys are so much more talented than most actors. Yep, a standing ovation dedicated to you guys.

This show made me realize so much. Thank you, Gaksital!

Chae Hong Joo

Let me just say this once. She deserved it. A second chance. She did. This was the scene where I smiled for the first time while watching the finale.

There she was. Ready to accept her imminent death. As the sword was being withdrew, she knelt down and did not beg for her life. Instead on the inside she felt that she did the right thing by concealing her knowledge of Gaksital's identity. She really showed the audience who she really is, and she allowed us to feel and understand her. The growth of her character throughout this series was completely breathtaking. At first she arrived in this drama as a mysterious woman designated to kill Gaksital. But underneath that glamorous exterior, lies the one and only Chae Hong Joo. Eventhough she was unable to see that herself, the real Korean Chae Hong Joo was there. No Japanese name like Ueno Rie or stage name like Rara can change what she really is on the inside. Kang To's presence was able to dig out her inner self. When she laid eyes on Kang To, he resurrected her memories of what happened five years ago. Even if she claimed that she hated Korea, she can't change the fact that she herself was a Korean and luckily she was able to see that towards the end.

Here she was a totally different person compared to what she was in the final episode. Here she was Ueno Rie, full of hate and hostility. Her past wasn't revealed much, but it wasn't pretty at all as I can see. Apparently it  molded her into someone spiteful, as she was in episode 4.

But here, you can see that the mask that locked in Chae Hong Joo melted away, and she was finally able to realize that she is what she is. I love how she finally embraced her nationality as a Korean, knowing that the past is the past, and the present will shape her future.
I'm glad she wasn't killed off.

"Hong Joo. Chae Hong Joo. That is my name."
